“NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS”
Nominations for all elected positions of CWA Local 9400 will be open from September 1, 2008 - 12:01 am to September 12, 2008 - 5:00 p.m.
The offices open for nominations are:
President *Executive Vice President A *Executive Vice President B Secretary-Treasurer Seven (7) Vice Presidents Four (4) Executive Board Members *Must Specify Position A or B
All nominations MUST BE SIGNED BY THE NOMINEE and be received VIA CERTIFIED MAIL addressed to the Election Committee CWA Local 9400, 7844 Rosecrans Ave., Paramount, California 90723, NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. SEPTEMBER 12, 2008. NOTE: AN INDIVIDUAL MAY BE NOMINATED FOR ONE POSITION ONLY. LOCAL 9400 ELECTION COMMITTEE CHAIR: Jack Burke
2008 Election Time Table
September 1, 2008 Nominations open
September 12, 2008 Nominations close. Nominations must be received before 5 p.m.
September 16, 2008 Notification to all nominees of ballot position drawing.
September 22, 2008 Drawing held for ballot positions (6 p.m.)
September 24, 2008 Joint bulk mailer prepared and mailed.
October 9, 2008 Deadline for new members/members in good standing to be eligible for 2008 election.
October 13, 2008 Ballots mailed first class to all members in good standing, according to the Local’s records.
November 4, 2008 Ballots will be counted. Results of the election will be given to the Local President and Secretary-Treasurer and sent to District 9. The results of the election will also be announced at the next membership meeting following the election.
